Communication & Information Commission

President: Dr. Wahida HANDOUZI

Main missions:

  • Develop a clear, structured, and coherent communication strategy
  • Define the rules of internal and external communication (procedures, channels, content validation).
  • Ensure the reliability and consistency of disseminated information
  • Participate in the organization of events (in coordination with Commission 6).
  • Establish a crisis communication strategy.
  • Identify priority and urgent communication actions.

Legal Affairs and Disputes Commission

President: Mr. Otmane HAMRAOUI

Main missions:

  • Ensure legal monitoring at all levels of the organization
  • Provide the necessary legal advice to the various commissions and bodies of the organization
  • Train and raise awareness among the organizations members on the application of regulatory texts issued under Algerian law.
  • Oversee compliance with and implementation of the articles of the organizations statuteand internal regulations.
  • membership movements, reinstatements, and dismissals of members, in accordance with the organizations statute and internal regulations.

Professional Qualification Commission

President: Mrs. Imane CHELLALI

Main missions:

  • Professional Development Enables professionals to acquire new skills and knowledge to stay up to date with developments in their sector
  • Career Reorientation: For those who wish to change fields or professions, professional rehabilitation offers the opportunity to learn and strengthen the skills needed for a new career.
  • Promotion and Advancement: Encourages progression in the professional hierarchy by allowing employees to obtain additional qualifications and prepare for leadership roles

ِCommission for the Monitoring, Support, and Promotion of industrial projects and Energy-Oriented industries.

Main missions:

  • Identify industrial projects related to energy economy.
  • Determine the needs and challenges of investors.
  • Establish a mapping of the industrial sectors with the highest energy consumption or with rationalization potential.
  • Create multidisciplinary support desks (engineering, expertise, certification…).
  • Develop a digital portal for the registration and monitoring of innovative, pilot, and nationally supportive projects
  • Organize field visits and technical workshops.
  • Launch calls for model projects in energy-oriented industries.
  • Create industrial clusters specialized in energy solutions.
  • Support research and development platforms and common technical laboratories in the industrial field.
  • Support factories in adopting international ISO standards.
  • Propose national standards for the performance of industrial equipment.
  • Develop a national industry for energy efficiency equipment.
  • Integrate energy-saving products into local supply chains.
  • Encourage the creation of partnerships in the field of energy technologies.

Studies and Expertise Commission

President: Mr. Abdelkader OUKACI

Main missions:

  • Conduct prospective studies on medium- and long-term energy needs.
  • Evaluate energy infrastructure projects in production, distribution, and efficiency.
  • Propose energy transition scenarios adapted to local realities.
  • Support public policies by formulating concrete recommendations.
  • Analyze the economic, social, and environmental impacts of energy choices.
  • Ensure continuous technological and regulatory monitoring in the the industrial and the energy sectors.
  • Promote green logistics for more responsible consumption.
  • Exploring the horizons of nuclear energy, hydrogen, renewable and green energies, shale gas, and others, as a complementary source

Programming and Planning Commission

President: Mr. Houari CHERID

Main missions:

  • Structure the forums programs around the key issues of industry and energy in Algeria.
  • Ensure the organization of events, aligning content with the strategic objectives of the forum.
  • Ensure coordination with other commissions and partners.
  • Monitor the preparation schedule and validate deliverables related to programming
  • Continuously adapt the program according to technical constraints or last-minute adjustments
  • Formalize a database of speakers, themes, panels, and deliverables.
  • Strengthen and support the network of experts and stakeholders engaged in industrial and energy transformation.
  • Implement the national roadmap on industry/energy synergies through the successive editions of the forum

Technical and Scientific Participation Commission of Algerian Competences

President: Mr. Lamine Mohamed MEKHLOUFI

Main missions:

  • Mobilize the expertise of the diaspora: Identify and bring together the technical, scientific, and entrepreneurial skills of the diaspora in the field of sustainable energy and industries.
  • Promote the transfer of knowledge, skills, and technologies: Encourage the exchange of know-how between diaspora experts and Algerian enterprises, particularly in the fields of industry, energy management, and efficiency.
  • Contribute to strengthening national policies: Provide technical and strategic support to the government for the implementation of new practices and recommendations.
  • Support investments: Encourage investment initiatives from the Algerian diaspora abroad, in collaboration with national partners in the fields of industry and energy efficiency.
  • Strengthen international cooperation: Establish partnership agreements with agencies and international organizations based in Algeria
  • Carry out technical and scientific twinning with international institutions, such as research centers, vocational training schools, and industrial expertise and audit organizations.

    President: Mrs. Amina BENHAMOU

    Main missions:

    • Support the energy transition of institutions and industrial companies through targeted advice, training, and expertise.
    • Promote renewable energies through pilot projects, national and international partnerships, and support for green investment.
    • Support local innovation, startups, and project leaders in the fields of solar, wind, biomass, and green hydrogen energy.
    • Engage our elite to raise awareness and work towards the generalization of energy management and efficiency.
    • Mobilize Algerian expertise, both local and from the diaspora, to strengthen national policies and capacities, working towards energy security.
    • Issue recommendations for a sustainable energy policy that is coherent and integrated with the countrys industrial and economic objectives
    • Organize events (exhibitions, forums, webinars, workshops) to raise awareness, train, and connect key stakeholders in the renewable energy sector, synthesizing best technical practices.
